  • Visitor safety guidelines are in place at all of our public sites.
  • All of our staff have received health and safety training in relation to COVID-19.
  • All of our staff and our sites have been awarded the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter.
  • Physical distancing provisions are in place at all of our public sites.
  • Visitors are asked to wear a face mask/covering in our Museums.
  • Booking is required at some Museum sites to facilitate physical distancing.
  • Hand sanitising stations are available for visitors and staff.
  • We have introduced a one-way system throughout our galleries.
  • We have further increased our rigorous cleaning regimes.
  • We will be managing visitor numbers in line with public health and safety guidelines.
  • Some galleries/areas may be temporarily closed where physical distancing cannot be implemented.
  • We will ask visitors to adhere to maximum capacity guidelines at some galleries/areas to facilitate physical distancing.
  • Cloakroom services will be unavailable so please do not bring motorcycle helmets, suitcases or large bags into the exhibition galleries.

Walking Tour (external tours)

  • Group numbers will be limited to the government guidance at the time.
  • Walking tour guides will wear a face mask/ covering throughout the tour and use a portable microphone to enable physical distancing.
  • We have adapted our walking tour route to safely accommodate our groups by avoiding crowded areas.
  • Visitors will be required to practice physical distancing on walking tours.
  • Visitors are asked to preferably wear a face mask/covering on our walking tours.
