Our guided tours take 45 minutes. However you are more than welcome to roam the museum after the tour. If you feel that you don't have enough time to view everything you are most welcome to return another day - at no extra charge!

There's so much to see at the Medieval Museum, you can take a break for lunch at the café in the Bishop's Palace and come back to view the rest of the museum when you are ready.
It is a natural response to want to touch things, however, the Medieval Museum has to discourage this as the cumulative effects of abrasion, grease and sweat can result in irreparable damage to the objects.
Hand-held cameras may be used in the Medieval Museum. However the use of flash, video cameras, tripods and other digital equipment is not permitted.
Photographs taken in the medieval Museum can only be used for personal use. Commercial use of any kind is not permitted. However, please feel free to use photographs taken in the Medieval Museum on Facebook or other social media platforms!
