The wearing of face coverings or masks in museums will be mandatory in Ireland from Monday 10th August. So we would ask that all of our visitors respect this for all concerned.
Is anyone exempt from wearing one?
Children under the age of 13 won’t have to wear a mask, people who may have trouble breathing, are unconscious or incapacitated, are unable to remove it without help and have special needs and who may feel upset or very uncomfortable wearing the face covering.
This is a requirement for entry to the award winning Medieval Museum, the beautiful Georgian Bishop’s Palace and the King of the Vikings.
