RECEPTION AND RETAIL SUPERVISOR
We are looking for a Reception and Retail Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate should have previous retail experience and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
•Welcome all visitors to Waterford Treasures in a helpful and positive manner, advising them of the services offered as appropriate.
•7-day roster with weekend work in accordance with business levels
•To have a complete knowledge of the attractions and the product and services we offer.
•Manage the day-to-day operations of the visitor attraction admissions and retail desks, ensuring the highest guest standards and expectations are met
•Management and coordination of all tour and group bookings.
•Maximise all guided tours to ensure guided tours are offered to all visitors
•Co-ordinate and welcome individual and group tours
•Train and supervise the team and tour guides
•Ensure all visitor queries received are answered in a timely and professional manner
•Monitor guest feedback and attend weekly team meetings and any other meetings requested.
•Ensure cash handling and end-of-day procedures are always adhered too
•Be proficient in the management and training of the attractions ticketing, events, and retail software (training provided)
•Provide operational assistance for key events
•Merchandising and keeping retail area to a high standard
•Be responsible for the pricing of all retail stock and where appropriate and economically advantageous the discounting of old stock that is slow to move
•Organise the coordination of the two annual stock takes that are carried out in all venues.
•Management of e-commerce online ordering dispatch
•Participate in the monthly duty management rosters
•Responsible for visitor satisfaction surveys and analysing same reporting results to management.
•Foster a collaborative approach to working with internal and external staff
•Provide operational assistance for key events
•Organise replacement staff uniforms
•Maintain visitor accident report book
•Deal with any guest complaints received at the desk
•Holiday, coffee, and lunch relief for front of house staff
•Flexible approach to working hours with accordance to the business levels particularly for end of day tours.
