Acquired by the Friends of Waterford Treasures in Switzerland, this extremely interesting painting dating back to the 17th century, it has on the back ‘Lord Charles/Waterford’ which may associate it with Bishop Charles Este builder of the Bishop’s Palace.

The curator of the Bishop’s Palace, Rosemary Ryan is pictured with it on its arrival at the Palace.
