Soprano Elva MacGowan is delighted to perform for Music at The Museum on Sunday 25th October at 12.30 pm. Double bassist Dave Fleming will join Elva MacGowan & guitarist Drazen Derek this coming Sunday at the museum. Elva will sing ballads made famous by her favourite singers including Doris Day, Margaret Whiting, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Linda Ronstadt, Edith Piaf and many more. Although trained classically, Elva fell in love with the jazz, folk, traditional and blues scene in Dublin and has been busy collaborating with different musicians to suit her style. She has since blended her knowledge of vocal performance with her love of old time songs and traditional acoustic accompaniments.

With concert ticket price linked to a visit to either the Medieval Museum or the Bishop’s Palace for just €2 and 10% discount on lunch at the Munster Bar, Café Royal or Geoff’s Café Bar, this is a great way to spend Sunday afternoon.
