The Royal Charters of Waterford is a magnificient book, which has been written by local Julian C. Walton. It describes the issuing of over thirty Royal Charters to the city of Waterford. Over time a number of these Royal Charters have disappeared and there are only nineteen left in the possession of Waterford City & County Council and are on display in the award winning Medieval Museum. It includes an account of Waterford’s Royal Charters including the Great Charter Roll of Waterford 1373. It’s lavishly illustrated throughout with original images from these charters including many of the Kings and Queens of England.
