His Excellency Archbishop Charles Brown was was born in the East Village of Manhattan in New York City. He studied at the University of Notre Dame, the University of Oxford, the University of Toronto and the Pontifical University St. Anselmo, Rome. In 2012 he was appointed Papal Nuncio to Ireland.
