Dr. Kieran O’Conor is our guest speaker at this years 4th Dr. Niall Byrne Memorial Lecture.
Dr Kieran O’Conor is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at NUI Galway. His research interests include castles, medieval rural settlements and landscapes and high medieval Gaelic Ireland. He has been published widely and is currently the English language editor of the international journal Chateau Gaillard. Kieran is a member of the Heritage Council.
